WATER SUPPLY

  • The SM range may be cold mains fill or tank feed (min head 2 metre)
  • In hard water areas an inline descaler or softener is recommended.

ELECTRICAL

  • It is recommended that a qualified installer to I.E.E. Regulations carries out the installation
  • Models SM46-79 require the correct cabling size when set to max output
  • PLEASE NOTE – Electrical instantaneous showers and water heaters must not be fitted inside enclosure

VENTILATION

  • Air extractors fitted in the bathroom must be ducted to outside
  • Good ventilation and heating avoid mould growth
  • PLEASE NOTE – Do not fit extractors inside enclosure

Important: When installing the STEAMIST unit in conjunction with an acrylic or fibreglass modular tub/shower unit, please refer to the separate manufacter’s instruction sheet for location of steam head. Do NOT locate steam head 12" from the floor as indicated.

- Temperature Control with Start/Stop Switch (SMTC) additional Start/Stop Control (SMC) installed outside steam room is optional.
